Item never shipped - customer service didn't help after 2 long calls
Ordered 2 items and they never shipped. I called customer service the first time and they noted they would escalate issue. The second time I called, there was no record of my first call and the items I originally wanted were sold out. The representative said there was nothing they could do. Horrible customer service. I was happy to have found a revamped Abercrombie after years of not shopping there. Once again, I will stop buying from Abercrombie.

I did an order and the estimated…
I did an order and the estimated delivery date was June 28. Till now not only i haven't received the order but also they still didn't ship it! I communicated with the customer service many times and everytime the same excuse "Due to high demand your order is having some delays!" Ok then don't put the expected delivery date! Horrible service. Will not buy from them again.
What a waste of time trying to place order online. We have tried to purchase A&F many time and we could never get confirmation on our orders. The reply is generic and useless. We have decided to no buy anything from A&F or Hollister again. Only other brands from now on.

Still waiting for refund even though at warehouse over a weel
I sent back an order 2 weeks ago, tracking shows it arrived at warehouse over a week ago, but still no sign or a refund or any communication to say its even been received. By far the slowest returns experience I've ever had with returning via post - annoying as some items can not be returned to store so you have no choice but to return via post. AVOID

Really confused on the bad reviews…
I was googling how to post a review on Abercrombie of something I bought and I came across this site and was shocked by the negative reviews! I order from A&F on a very regular basis (like 3 times a month). I have never had an issue with something not being delivered or trying to get a refund on something I returned online. I live in the US so maybe experiences are different in other countries but I would be surprised by that as they have really wonderful customer service. Quality is for the most part pretty good for the price you pay for their clothes; and I have to stay really really cute on trend stuff! Once in a while I’ll get something I pay $100 dollars for and when I get it, doesn’t seem up to par but that’s pretty rare. Anyway, that’s just my opinion…. And a lot of others (look at the reviews of items online) again, just surprised to see this. Happy shopping ;)

Expensive for the quality and charge £5 for returns. One item fit and the other was skin tight in my usual size. Won’t bother again

Horrible
I made an order online about a week ago and A&F used this shipping company called Lasership. Yesterday, I received an email saying my order was delivered and nothing was delivered. I even walked around my whole neighborhood to see if was delivered to the wrong house. Unfortunately, I can’t located the package. Besides, I was home all day when they claimed delivery of the package. I reviewed my front door camera, and no one ever never deliver anything according to the date and time. By the way, I live in a pretty nice neighborhood where everyone knows each other and never had any problems before. I called A&F customer service and a lady told me that they will reprocess the order. Today, I received multiple email from their customer service saying they are not responsible since the tracking information said “Delivered”. I explained that the package was never delivered, and request them to coordinate with their shipping company. Nope, they told me I am responsible for it! WHAT!? By the way, they are NOT issuing any refund either. Told me to contact the shipping company directly to resolve it! I am beyond words and very disappointed with how they handle this situation. Well, they lost me as a customer forever!

Issue with website means you can't get…
Issue with website means you can't get refunded to original payment method and only gift card (I was informed by CS). If that is the case, WHY isn't there a notice at the top of the website informing all buyers that refunds can't be processed properly at the current time??

Missing refund of 1850 kr??????
EIGHT months ago i sent a brunch of clothes back, some of it Didn’t fit and some was damaged when I received it. I still haven’t received my refund of 1800 kr. I’ve called / emailed a total of times I can not count and im always told that for you guys it looks like you sent the money, blaming my bank, etc, I’ve been back and forth with my bank, they confirm there has been no transfer. I had to attempt to make a request for lost money through the bank which was declined because it took me too long since I was back and forth with Abercrombie for months. Then I’ve 4 times called or emailed where they say they will refer me to someone who will respond within 48 hrs. Then this person replies and says they’ve referred me to someone who responds within 10 business days. And this person NEVER contacts me. When confronted about this they’ve admitted “it appears they accidentally checked the task off of their list, which is why they didn’t reply”

Worst experience buying clothes online...
I ordered a few pairs of jeans online and was very excited, as I had heard many good things about them. Well, the shipping company couldn't find my house so they marked the address as invalid (never had that happen before with any other deliveries, and I confirmed my address was correct). This wasn't Abercrombies fault but I reached out to their customer service to ensure I'd get a refund. They told me I would within 3-5 business days of the order being returned to the warehouse. A couple weeks later and I hadn't heard anything. I reached out again and they went again and put the request in for a refund. I received an email not long after stating I had gotten a refund. The refund was approximately 30% of the purchase price. I sent another email to customer service to let them know that I didn't get a full refund (which I was told I would get) and am still waiting to hear back. I am so disappointed, and will probably never shop online with them again. If you want their jeans, just go to a physical store!!

most of my wardrobe is from them. fast shipment and no issues with the returns. only downside is that they cut 5 euros when you return something which is a bummer.
you can find reformation styles of summer dresses for a fraction. i find summer collection far better than winter stuff.

The products from this company are nice, customer service is AWFUL.

My order was randomly cancelled so I got in touch to ask why. They sent an odd email claiming they’ve had issues delivering to my address before and couldn’t deliver to my house. Funny that as they use Royal Mail and I do all my shopping online and have never had any problems, I’m in a residential area with clear house numbering and I actually placed 3 separate orders over the span of a couple of months, a couple of months before this.

When I queried it, and asked to raise a complaint, my email has gone ignored for nearly a month.

I also complained via their chat function and was given 20% off as goodwill- incredible as I can’t actually spend it as they won’t deliver to my address! They suggested I order to my local store for pick up and couldn’t care less when I pointed out it was over an hour away. The chat went on for over an hour and the rep was rude, lacked knowledge and told me to email in- where I remained ignored.

Service is a joke, avoid!

Abercrombie does have good quality…
Abercrombie does have good quality garments, but they are a little pricey. I recently went in to shop for my nephew and niece. I was surprised by the style and quality of their clothing. They were both happy with what I had bought them.

They are the absolute worst with refunds
They are the absolute worst when it comes to returns and refunds. They charge £5 for returns ( in addition to the fact they also charge £5 for delivery ) and then take absolutely ages to process the refund. I had to return three times and on all occasions I waited over two months for the refund. Unacceptable. They will keep and make use of your funds until they please and care to refund you. Their sizing is so inconsistent that makes returns necessary unfortunately. Not the best company to deal with. My best advice is pay with PayPal and open a case with them if the item is substandard, it will be dealt with a lot quicker than waiting for Abercrombie to refund you.
